A friend goes to Tuesday evening Mass at a parish where they have a simple, but different tradition. Each Mass they announce the Mass Intention of the day that was request as well as the Family of the Day.
Each family is assigned a day of the year, rotating through the list of registered families, where the entire parish offers up prayer for that family.
What a great idea for bringing the community together!!
